By using Snapy Brick at snapybrick.com, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Snapy Brick is a browser-based 3D brick builder. Guests may play in-session; free accounts may save one default world; subscribers may save additional worlds and publish non-default projects to the public showcase.
Accounts
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or harm the service.
Your content
Ownership.You retain ownership of builds, titles, and other content you create in Snapy Brick ("Your Content").
Private builds. If you do not publish a build to the showcase, Your Content remains private except as needed to operate the service (storage, backups, support, and security).
Publishing to the showcase. If you publish a non-default project to the public showcase, you represent that you created the build or have the rights needed to publish it; that it does not violate law or third-party rights; and that you agree to the license below.
License you grant us when you publish. By publishing to the showcase, you grant Snapy Brick a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use Your Content that is part of the published build — including the title, thumbnail, 3D build data, author display name, and showcase page URL — to:
- display and host it on snapybrick.com (including the showcase gallery, build detail pages, search and social previews, and the homepage);
- allow visitors to view and interact with the build in our viewer; and
- promote Snapy Brick and the service in marketing materials (for example: social media posts, ads, email, blog posts, press, app store listings, and product demos).
This license includes the right to reproduce, distribute, publicly display, and create derivative works for those purposes, such as cropping thumbnails, adding Snapy Brick branding, or creating short videos, GIFs, or screen recordings of published builds.
What this license is not.This license does not transfer ownership to us, and it does not grant the public permission to reuse Your Content outside Snapy Brick (see Public showcase & other users below).
Prohibited content.You agree not to publish content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or infringes others' rights. We may remove or unpublish content that violates these Terms.
Public showcase & other users
What "public" means. Published showcase builds are visible to anyone with access to snapybrick.com. We may list them in the showcase gallery, on build detail pages, in search and social previews, and on parts of our site such as the homepage.
What other people may do. Unless we say otherwise in writing, visitors may:
- view published builds in our viewer;
- share links to showcase pages; and
- share screenshots or short clips of what they see for personal, non-commercial purposes, with attribution to the creator and a link to the showcase page when reasonably possible.
What other people may not do without permission from the rights holder (usually the creator) and, where applicable, from Snapy Brick:
- copy, download, or republish the 3D build data to recreate the build elsewhere;
- sell, license, or commercially exploit a build or derivative of it;
- remove creator attribution or imply they created the work; or
- use automated tools to scrape or bulk collect showcase content (see Acceptable use).
Publishing to the showcase does not grant other users a license to reuse Your Content except as allowed above and by law.
Users may report showcase content they believe violates these Terms. We may investigate and remove or unpublish content at our discretion.
Unpublishing & removal
Unpublish. You may unpublish a build to remove it from the public showcase and homepage rotation. Unpublishing does not delete your private saved project.
Our marketing use after unpublish. If we already used your published build in marketing materials before you unpublished, we may retain and continue using those existing materials for a reasonable period to avoid disrupting campaigns already in market, unless you ask us to stop or we must remove it for legal, safety, or policy reasons. We will make reasonable efforts to stop new uses of that build in marketing after unpublish. We are not required to recall or delete copies already distributed (for example, posts on third-party social platforms).
Removal by Snapy Brick. We may unpublish or delete showcase content that violates these Terms, receives valid legal complaints, or harms the service. We may suspend accounts that repeatedly violate these rules.
Copyright complaints
If you believe content on the showcase infringes your copyright, contact us at support@snapybrick.com with: (1) your contact information; (2) identification of the copyrighted work; (3) the URL of the infringing build; (4) a statement of good-faith belief; and (5) a statement that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder. We may remove or disable access to reported content while we investigate.
Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans are billed through Stripe at the prices shown on our pricing page (currently $5.99/mo monthly or $49.00/yr yearly). Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled via the customer portal. Refunds follow Stripe and our stated refund policy at checkout.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to break, overload, or scrape the service.
- Do not scrape, bulk download, or systematically collect showcase build data except through features we provide.
- Do not upload malicious code or attempt unauthorized access.
- Report inappropriate showcase content using the in-app report feature.
Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted availability. We are not affiliated with any brick toy brand. Snapy Brick is an independent creative product. Showcase builds are user-created works. Snapy Brick does not claim ownership of user builds except under the limited license in these Terms.
Changes
We may update these terms or the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
